A classic north Norfolk beach with broad flat sands, colourful beach huts, and backed by a pine forest. At low tide the sands extend well beyond the hut line to give a firm, workable surface ideal for moats and pools. The beach is sheltered enough that winds are less of a problem than the exposed Holkham flats, making it a more comfortable choice for smaller children on cooler days.
